About

Hi, I'm Celina! I'm a Product Manager at Microsoft, working on AI Growth & Features, Sharing & Collaboration experiences and Monetization. I studied Computer Science and Business at Western University in Canada, and I wrote code before I moved into product.

I'm a data-driven PM focused on growth. I love to trace funnels, analyze telemetry, and draw from user research to define growth opportunities hiding in the numbers. It's helped me define and ship experiments that 3x'd OneDrive/SharePoint's AI usage, grow our Consumer business $4.2M annually, and build sharing experiences with 60M+ views.

I use AI extensively in my work: building monetization dashboards, investigating bugs and pulling telemetry from code, and prototyping ideas quickly. I also use it to build my side projects.

    Microsoft · OneDrive & SharePoint

Growth PM for AI features, sharing, and the consumer subscription business.

    Copilot · OneDrive & SharePoint

    AI Features & Usage Growth

    Problem
Funnel data and user feedback showed demand for help analyzing files, but users could not find it. Many opened Copilot without entering a prompt.
    What I built
We tested contextual prompt suggestions based on file type, shipped AI skills (e.g. chart generation), ran UX experiments to improve AI discoverability, and put AI actions right on people's files so they could be more productive with their files. I also led evals and prompt engineering for contextual PDF prompts.
    Key challenge
Users frequently churned after first use. We shifted focus from acquisition to retention and prioritized higher-value file features that gave users a reason to return.

    Access Requests Redesign

    Problem
Opening a file without access led to a dead end: a slow page with no available action.
    What I built
Built access requests into the sharing experience. Requesters can include a message, and owners review and respond to requests directly in the sharing dialog.
    Key challenge
Permission inheritance and legacy architecture constrained the design. We resolved this through trade-off discussions with engineering to align on architecture and API changes.
    • 60M+ views / week
    • 45.5M+ access requests / month

    B2C Subscriptions

    Subscription Business Growth

    Problem
Conversion depended on several points in the purchase funnel, and it was unclear which levers had the greatest impact on subscriptions and upgrades.
    What I built
Ran experiments to identify and fix drop-off points in the purchase funnel, surface premium value to users who need more, and increase file engagement to raise the likelihood of converting. Built AI-powered dashboards to monitor monetization health and bugs.

Microsoft · OneDrive Photos & Mobile

Shipped Photo Favorites on OneDrive mobile.

    OneDrive Photos · Retention

    Photo Favorites

    Problem
Users' most important photos were buried in large camera rolls.
    What I built
Defined requirements, designed experiments, and aligned design and engineering to ship Photo Favorites.
    • +11% Week 1 retention
    • +7% Week 2 retention

    OneDrive Photos · Discovery

    Favorites Discoverability

    Problem
Post-launch telemetry showed low discovery of Favorites.
    What I built
Used telemetry and success metrics to make the case for an in-context Favorites pop-up, then led its implementation.

    Microsoft · Microsoft Lists

Built data aggregation features in React + TypeScript.

    Microsoft Lists · Engineering

    List Aggregations

    Problem
Lists offered no simple way to summarize their data.
    What I built
Built aggregation features with unit tests and telemetry, and worked with engineers to optimize rendering performance.
    • 8% faster rendering

Built internal data tools for bankers.

    Data Visualization

    Bond Ratings Heatmap

    Problem
Investment bankers spent significant time parsing dense tables of bond ratings to decide what their clients should invest in.
    What I built
Worked with product designers to build a data heatmap in React that converted bond ratings data into a visual UX, enabling investment bankers to make faster decisions.
